Description
Teamonk presents Orange Pekoe Black Tea, picked from the highlands of Nilgiris. The tea unravels its magic only when the leaves are in water, much like a hidden treasure, synonymous to its name Hozo, meaning hidden treasure in Zen. The top two leaves of this tea and the bud are plucked and carefully carried for processing and are then hand-rolled. With an exquisite attention to detail, the long, wiry black leaf unfolds beautifully to give a light orange yellow liquor. The tea has a robust taste with intense charred notes and a woody character, along with muscatel aroma. It contains medium caffeine content and is best consumed early morning or late evening. It is 100% natural and rainforest alliance certified. It contains no artificial flavours, no essences, no oils and is hand curated. The tea complements an authentic tea drinking experience along with its rich aroma and taste.
