Nasal irrigation, is a personal hygiene practice in which the nasal cavity is washed to flush out mucus and debris from the nose and sinuses. The practice is generally well-tolerated and reported to be beneficial with only minor side effects. Also known as neti, this practice has been used in India for thousands of years and now widely recommended worldwide by yoga and Ayurveda practitioners and even doctors of modern medicine. A neti pot is often used to perform this cleansing process. Rinsing the nose with saline solution has been proven to provide relief from symptoms of many uncomfortable sinus and nasal conditions including allergies, colds, sinus infections, dry air, and postnasal drip.

Neti pot is made of ceramic, as there are many benefits to using a ceramic Neti Pot over plastic one, the most important reason is in-toxicity. You don't want any harsh chemical entering in to your nasal cavity. Plastic Neti Pots are not advisable, as water accumulates in the hollow handles & never dries which causes fungus formation. So you end up pouring fungus in your nose. Newnik Neti Pot enables its user to pour a nasal rinse into the nostrils in such a way that it flushes out irritants and thins out mucus. This typically leads to less congestion and easier breathing through the nose. It washes away pollen and allergens reducing sinus irritation. Soothe dry nasal passages; gently wash away dust, smoke, pollen and irritants.

  • Dissolve 1/2 teaspoon, un-iodized salt in 250 ml of lukewarm distilled or purified bottled water in your Neti Pot. Stir to dissolve salt completely
  • Leaning slightly forward over a sink or basin and tilting your head to the side (about 45 degree angle), insert the spout of the Neti Pot into your upper nostril (the one closer to the ceiling)
  • As you breathe through your open mouth, slowly pour the Neti Pot’s content into the upper nostril
  • Simply repeat on the other side. Aim to use about half of the Neti Pot’s content into each nostril
  • The un-iodized salt solution will flow through your nasal passages and out your lower nostril
  • Gently blow your nose until clear

  • Neti Pot is made with ceramic and a slight glaze along with a cute shape and appearance, this make it easy and comfortable to use. Ceramic also protects against scratches and rust, so it is quite durable
  • The smooth tapered spout of the pot comes up to the same height of the pot and fits comfortably in the nostril; also the handle is solid for complete and thorough cleaning
  • Nice, big opening to stir the saline mixture. Wide enough to access the inside for easy cleaning but shaped just right to avoid unnecessary spillage when you are pouring
  • Neti Pot is convenient in weight. That means it is easy to lift by any age group. Additionally, it doesn't become heavy after pouring water into it; this makes the process of Neti more easy and comfortable
